To know what size hat to order you need to measure your head by using a tape measure. If a tape measure is not available, use a piece of string, and write down the inches for conversion to the size. Here's a "Hat Size Chart" to help you out.

Because each one of LONGHORN HATTERS Custom Designed Guatemalan Palm Leaf and 100% Wool Felt hats are made one at a time, and in some cases from raw Hat Bodies, please allow ten to fourteen days processing. Shipping normally takes from three to seven days on top of that.

The Comanchero

This light brown custom dyed Guatemalan Palm Leaf comes with a 6 inch brim, and a 5 3/4 inch crown. Dark brown lacing highlights the brim, and a 3/4 inch band made of dark brown leather with pigskin backing is accented with seven Buffalo Head Nickels. The band is custom fit to the hat, and tied off with thick dark brown strip lacing in the back. This hat has been very well received.

Due to the size of the shipping box, to accommodate a 6", or 8" brimmed hat, it is necessary to raise shipping rates to $20.00 for UPS GROUND charges.

The Travis

This Guatemalan Palm Leaf is styled after hat worn by Col. William B. Travis, one of The Alamo's great heroes. Comes with a buckskin band and a bone/Texas Star concho side piece for decoration. Available with a 4 or 5 inch brim (5 inch brim shown here). Crown is measured to 5 inches. Perfect for Re-enactors, or for just sitting on the front porch sipping a Mint Julep while on the Plantation. When ordering be sure to furnish information on brim size desired.

Trail Blazer

This rustic Guatemalan Palm Leaf Straw, antiqued, and equipped with a hatband made from braided wool, alpaca and leather stripping, is accented with a star concho, and Raccoon fur front. The Single Peaked blocked crown is 5“, and shapeable wire brim is 3 1/2". Sizes are from 6 3/4 to 8.

Guatemalan Palm Leaf Straw

Guatemalan Palm Leaf Straw Hat

This custom designed Palm Leaf straw hat comes with dark brown leather strap lacing around the brim, accented with a custom fitted hatband consisting of five Silver Oval Longhorn conchos on custom cut and fitted one inch brown, backed leather, and secured with dark brown raw hide strip leather on back of band.

Available with 4" brim, 5 3/4" crown, and 5" brim, 6 1/2" crown. All sizes are available, from 6 3/4 to 8.

THE LITTLE WRANGLER

This tiny Guatemalan Palm Leaf hat will suit any "Little Wrangler's" Fancy. It's made just like the "Big Wrangler's" hat. The brim is 3 1/2 inch, rolled and bound with 100% leather lacing. The crown is 4 3/4 inches high.
The Hatband is 1/4 of an inch wide leather, cut to spec, and accented with a gold/silver concho placed in the middle of the front. The band is finished off with brown lacing coming off the back.this Hat will fit small children to Kindergarten.
Each "Little Wrangler" hat comes with "AN HONORARY LITTLE WRANGLER CERTIFICATE, plus a LITTLE WRANGLER TALL TALE suitable for framing.
